This is page 1 of a two page spread of photos of my grandfather in his navy uniform when he served in WWII. We don't know much of this time because he never talked about the war. EVER!! We know that his ship was the H.M.C.S but not what it stood for. We know that he did see some action but how much and where, we don't know. He once told me that he lost many friends in the war and then never spoke of it again. We do know that it is because of his participation in the war and how he felt about it, we as a family have a rich spiritual heritage that we are very proud and thankful for.
