My son and me on St. Patrick's Day. He just learned how to pucker up a few weeks ago and this is the first picture I have of him giving a kiss.

I adopted him last year on St. Patty's Day when he was 3 days old, so this is a very special holiday for us. The luck of the Irish, indeed.

The photo mats are meant to be used as a folded scallop edge cards, but they were just the right size for this LO. I raided the embroidery thread from my very long ago days as a cross-stitcher to make the shamrock stem.

The journaling around the edges of the large shamrock is a traditional Irish blessing that says: May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow; and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.
