I love the cards, and all of the everyday things you included in your LO as embellishments. The description of the subject in your photo is rich- I can visualize what he would look like in color, but I really like the B&W! Cool.
I think this is my newest fave of yours!!! WOOOWWWEEE..that pic is just incredible..like I wanna just step into it to learn more about this person. The details are complimentary and the colors so lively! INCREDIBLE...I love it!!! :)
What an amazing photo and overall layout, Cindy!! The colorful matting and embellishment totally reminds me of San Antonio -- lush, funky, urban, vibrant.
One amazing lo. There is so much going on and it is all so perfect and looks so crisp! I love your photo and really enjoyed reading the journaling. Good Luck in the contest!
FAB-U-LOUS, Cindy! You can do "clean collage" like noone else. No distressing anywhere but the grouping of colorful elements throughout the lo provides such an energetic and vibrant feel to the whole piece. You're a wonderful artist! GOOD LUCK in the contest! This is a winner in my book!!!
Okay, I just realized that you are Amy P.'s (artsychick) online friend. We are "creative" buddies...meet once a month and do creative stuff. She showed me some of the things you made for her. Very, very cool! You are one talented girl!
The photo you took is stunning. I love it. SF is a wonderful place to photograph people, the city. I love all the old buildings, and the characters here are great. This page has such a beautiful collage look, its really something. Just love all the little touches & elements. A big contender for sure :)
---> I wish you had gotten it in color, its sounds like that teal suit & oranges would have really been cool!
*~*~* GOOD LUCK in THE CONTEST *~*~*
*YOU* are such an ARTIST!!! this is just the coolest ever!!! love it soooooooo much!! jaw dropping to the floor like it always is when i see more of your work!!!
Street photography is where my roots lie. When I lived in San Francisco I carried my camera everywhere looking for people to photograph. One morning I came across this gentleman dressed in his Sunday best. This was one of the rare moments when I wished that I had color film in my camera instead of Tri-X. His hat and suit were the brightest of turquoise and his tie glinted red with sequins. And of course, the kicker was the oranges in the background! I still love this photo. It's a classic in my memories of The Streets of San Francisco...
