Love this idea, esp including the original color version. Also, I think it's great to scrap those old portraits. I just have them in the back of frames behind newer pics, lol!

part of my portrait layout collection. This is my solution to portraits that have faded over time. I scan them and print them in black and white. I use a smaller pic in color to show the original view. I used lace applique, ribbon and stitched the daisy stems. Daisies were from a pack of daisy chains by Marth Stewart
