A layout created as an illustration to accompany a short story about my two four-legged children of whom I have very few pictures. The work week was always hectic but Saturday morning was usually held to a relaxing pace and started by brewing freshly ground coffee. Dartamus had a game that he played whenever I was in my robe and moving slowly. He would dash between my legs and then stop so that the robe draped over his head and then he would bark loudly for DH to come see "The Sheik of Arabie." We never got a photo of him playing this game so this illustration was made from two separate photos.
