Give a Cheer
This is my sweet, adorable DD, Shelby in 2007. Every year, the school had school spirit week and the kids got to dress in certain ways. This picture was for crazy hair day and I did her hair up in little round pony tails and sprayed it with colored hair spray. It wasn't until looking back on this picture that it looks like she was dressed for crazy clothes day...she reminds me of a little misfit...but she sure is a cute one!!
The frame around the pic was a technique that Jamie (jaylynnscrap) shared with me. I fell in love with it on her LO Love (http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/441217/view/2638235/-1/1.html). Of course, hers looks a lot better than mine, but I didn't do too bad for my first time.
I made the bling myself with puffy paint & liquid pearls. The flowers are prima. I used lots of glimmer mist on this. The title I painted with candy apple red & hot pink, then sanded it and inked it with cat's eye chalk inks.
For the "why did I buy this challenge" - I used 2 items, the pink bling flower in the corner of the frame and the little bling bird by the title.
I feel like the top right corner needs a little something...what do you think?
