Beautiful lo...and very touching. I went through this with all 3 of my dds. When their beauty is natural, others don't understand. Be there to support her and eventually the caterpillar leaves its cocoon to become a beautiful butterfly :) And I agree with Akentuckygal...the splash of red makes the page.

Amanda, this is a beautiful layout! Your daughter is very pretty! I was picked on relentlessly as a kid in school too, by the same mean kids throughout elementary and high school, so I know how she feels! (I'd love to come to your town and her school and jerk a knot in those kids' behind!) Anyway, she really is pretty! Great take on my challenge!

Awwww...this brought tears to my eyes Amanda! This lo is beautiful and so is Brittany! Kids are cruel but I always tell my daughter{ and son} that when someone else puts you down it's beause they don't have any self confidence themselves...it makes them feel better to shift this feeling on to someone else. and one more thing ..those super jocks and beauty queens that are so popular usually don't end up doing anything very spectacular with their life. Brittany , those that are wallflowers when they're younger, bloom into the prettiest flowers as adults !!! You will grow to be a much stronger woman because of this. You ARE beautiful!

I love the layout and I think your daughter is Beautiful! Especially those eyes! WOWZERS, what peepers! I was also picked on IMMENSELY growing up; kids are so cruel. Tell your daughter that most kids her age are immature and have no idea what they're talking about, AND as serious and all-life-encompassing school and social circles seem right now, school is just a few fleeting years! And ALWAYS remember (because this made me feel better) "Haters are just fans with frowns," and, "It's better to be a first-rate version of yourself, then a second-rate version of somebody else." Tell her she's gorgeous, because Sara said so!!!

This is just a gorgeous LO!!! Your daughter is so beautiful too. I went through the same thing because my dad was in the Air Force and we moved all the time. I was over weight so I was teased relentlessly. It's really tough because some kids will find anything to tease another kid about just to make themselves feel better. I used to tell my boys that the other kids parents were probably mean to them. My boys were softies and would never hurt someone. They used to bring all the picked on kids home with them. LOL!!! I ran an orphanage for years. LOL!!!
