My younger daughter has a quirky habit of taking photos of herself with my digital camera and then letting me find them when I upload from the camera. This is one of those photos, and I just like how it turned out with the soft glow of light and her sort of surprised innocence of expression. I hoped that it would look ok against the blues of this paper, and I'm really pleased how this whole LO came together.

This is my entry for the Swirlydoos Sketch Challenge for April. The kit this month is titled "Park Avenue" and, as always, the papers are beautiful and the sketch was awesome to work with. The whole kit is just full of the most beautiful products!

I started with a black CS base and fussy cut the Websters patterned paper. Then I scanned one of the butterflies and printed some extra images of it on plain cardstock. Then I put diamond glaze over the butterflies and stickles over the flowers on the patterned paper.

I put patterned paper and vanilla CS under the diecut frame. I used the backside of the striped pp for the photo mat. I painted and crackled the chipboard (from last month's Swirlydoos kit), enlarged one of the butterflies and covered it with shimmered embossing powder.

The small blue and yellow flowers are from a package I got at Hancocks. The metal piece is Making Memories from my stash.

I stamped the clear frame, and punched out some CS ribbon. Then I built up some enameled flowers (see video tutorial link below) in my UTEE pot and put some of the pearl bling from the kit in the centers. I inked the letter stickers (Prima) with Broken China Distress Ink.
