This is the second page of my I'm Flying layout. It's all journaling connected to my Peter Pan layout. The journaling reads:

Seeing a local community theater production of Peter Pan when I was 8 years old changed my life. Previously, I had tagged along with my mother as she worked backstage in various adult productions, but I was too young to enjoy those plays and it certainly never occurred to me that children could be involved in them.
I remember sitting in the audience completely absorbed and caught up in the escapades of Peter, the Darling children, the Lost Boys and, of course, Captain Hook. It was magical! There is no other word to describe the experience. I decided that I wanted to be a part of that magic, and I bugged my mother for the next year to let me audition for a play.
At age 9, I was cast as Lucy in a local production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I immediately knew I had found my calling, and the local theater became a second home to me. I’ve lost count of the productions I’ve been in since my first play. Most have been with various community theaters; lately I’ve been fortunate enough to get paid for what I enjoy doing most. My dream role, however, has always been to play Peter Pan.
In 2006, at age 38, I got the opportunity to live out my dream. I gladly went through 8-10 hour choreography rehearsals required to retrain my body how to dance. I fearlessly learned how to do front and back flips while flying through the air thanks to the wonderful tutelage of Jason with Flying by Foy. I got to experience the joy of being a child again onstage. I reveled in performing before audiences of 600 to 1100 people. But the best part – the absolute best part – was the children. Hearing a little boy urgently yelling out, “Wake up Peter!” as Captain Hook sneaked up on my sleeping self and watching all the little ones reach up to catch some fairy dust as I flew out over the audience at the end of each performance was the thrill of a lifetime. I thought my heart would literally burst with happiness when little children would come up to me after the performance, clearly wrapped up in the same magic I had experienced when I was 8. I hope that I helped to foster a love for the theater and performing arts that will last a lifetime in those children and that maybe, just maybe, one of those children will someday tell the story of how this Peter Pan helped to change his or her life.

The ribbon at the bottom of the journaling was a sweet gift from my former secret sister, Lavona.
