Awesome. My mother-in-law makes dresses. She made my SIL's wedding dress. She didn't make mine though because I didn't know her THAT well yet. I wish she would have though.
This is such an awesome display of how much this dress actually means to you...Of course your layouts ROCK but it is your journaling and attention to detail that really gets to me every time! Great great great work Liz!
Oh, Liz!! This is sooooo gorgeous! I am absolutely loving every single wedding lo from you and this one is no exception. So beautiful! Love the dress drawing, esp. Perfect touch!
Absolutely beautiful, Liz! Love the photos and design! That is just awesome that your mom made you that fabulous dress and I love the doodled dress by your bro...fantastic!
This is so gorgeous! The LO, the dress, everything! You are so lucky to, well, for one have a mother with that much talent, and two to have caught these moments on camera!
Oh goodness, Liz. LOVE this. Magnificent. Girl, you are going to have to submit your entire wedding album. Seriously. OMG. I adore that the doodle is by your brother. That is so sweet. :)
Your album is going to be the best ever!!!! This is a beautiful page too, I love the story and how you captured the story and creative process of the dress! Gorgeous lo, and gorgeous dress! You Mom is amazing!!!
Wow, I feel like I am making progress on the wedding album! ;) I've been wanting to scrap this for a long time...the makings of the wedding dress. I feel so fortunate, that my mom is an amazing seamstress and that she was willing to make my wedding dress. If she didn't make it, I would have just rented an off the rack gown. And now I have an heirloom that I will treasure always, but perhaps even better, I have the memories of the adventure - shopping for fabric, buttons, dress fittings, discussions about the design of the dress. Sorry for the novel and thanks for looking. the journaling...I simply listed the materials that we gathered to make the dress.
Products: Painted background by Katie Pertiet (designerdigitals) messy stitches & brown stitches by Katie pertiet (designerdigitals) notebook paper by Tia Bennett (designerdigitals) basic bare alpha chipboard letters by Katie Pertiet (designerdigitals) schmootzy frames by Nancie Janitz (scrapartist) dress doodle by my brother, George Lee fonts: my old remington, cezanne, fg otto
