Journaling of the final day of the trip, and our mileage estimates we took with us. At the end and beginning of each day we needed inspiration to keep driving north. After 120 degree weather and 6 hours on the motorcycle the bells of Capistrano inspired me to move on. It was one of those magical moments in life. These are layouts showing my husband and I picking up a brand new Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra in Palm Springs, and our experience driving it home to Northern California via Highway 1. I had been on a motorcycle about 3 hours of my entire life before this journey.
