Photo was taken on Easter Sunday 2010 of me, my parents and my siblings. I desaturated the colors in the photo and then printed it out onto cardstock.

I colored the clock piece using alcohol ink.

Journaling reads: On January 18, 2010 my life was forever changed. My mom had a stroke and at one point we didn't think she would live. I realized at that very moment that I had taken my mom for granted. I thought that she would always be here for me, but I knew that I was wrong. I realized that life is so precious and fleeting. I vowed to myself right then and there to spend more time with my family and to make sure that they knew how much I loved adn cherished them. I am so thankful that I have more time with my mom and I can honestly say taht so far I have been spending more time with my family, making new memories. I love you all so much.
