This layout was for my April Monochromatic Challenge and I chose green obviously as my color for this week. I put a border around the outside edge to make it pop a little more. I used my scalloped punch to add a fancy side to the strip of green paper and the left over skinny strip I put on the other side. I cut a 5 by 7 rectangle with the same paper I used for the border and placed it behind the pictures and added a heart punch on the corner. I then used gold 3D paint and placed dots around it to make it stand out more and not just blend in with the background. I cut out a heart and put buttons on it because we had to use buttons for the twist in the challenge. The square under the ribbon bow was textured by my Sizzix texture boutique and sprayed with lime glimmer mist. I finished the layout with lettering that was cute out by my cricut and I had glittered the words LUCKY and MINE to add a little sparkle to the page. :) TFL!
