This layout is of a poem that my daughter Amanda wrote in 2008 for her Senior English class in high school. I love her gift for writing and this is one of my favortie pieces that she has written!
"Love Potion for the Perfect Lover"
1. 4 red rose petals to give a wonderful smell.
2. Crushed sapphires and diamonds to give their love glitter and sparkle.
3. A blindfold to show that love is blind.
4. 2 magents to give the opposites attract effect.
5. Ripped up love poems, so they will be able to express their love through art.
6. A dozen dove feathers, so they will be able to give their love wings.
7. Dust from a shooting star, so their love will shine above all else.
8. A parachute, so they will be able to prove to their love they can always trust them and will never let them fall.
9. 2 chocolate kisses, because they way to any girl's heart is through chocolate.
10. A key, so they can unlock their heart and fall in love.
SPELL:
4 rose petals and some chocolate kisses,
Throw them in the mix to help find your Mrs.
A little sparkle and a little shine,
You'll be head over heels in love in no time.
Add 2 magnets and some dust from a star
and your true love will not be far.
The next woman you will see will be the one,
and finally all your searching will be done.
