Horse Bit Shadowbox

My dad has had this WW1 horse bit since he was a very young boy. He's proud of it and kept it lying around on the end table. One day I told him I wanted to take it home with me to make a shadowbox for it. My dad will be 88 next month and he's going down hill so I have been trying to do special things for him lately. Now it's hanging on the wall and he can see it all the time along with photos from his younger years.
