How did I miss this one?!? This T*R*E*E is so stunning to look at and I L*O*V*E that you sb'd it! Love the vintage feel to it as well ... alos, it is very interesting what you did with the pp off to the right ... clever!
I knew I was going to love this before I even clicked it open. The title intrigued me and drew me in, plus, I know the artist and knew it would be a treat! Your journaling is so sweet. I love the tradition you captured on this page. Gorgeous tree! It smells fragrant all the way over here! Remarkable work on this.
BEAUTIFUL Jen!!! What a great tradition to take her pic at the tree every year!!!! Love the tag with the musical notes & those flowers & butterflies are gorgeous!!! Fab work & great pix!
The sentiment and meaning within all your page elements is astounding, Jen! I just love how you craft your scrapbook lo's. The story you shared about the tree is unbelievable....and your daughter now lives in Japan!!! Wow! Love the title with the tag! The swirled paper border on right looks soooo pretty. The 3 photos, spanning the years and wonderful. INCREDIBLE...into FAVES!!!
Lovin' EVERYTHING you did in this STUNNING LO, Jen! Great story and lovely "home grown" flowers! Your pp choices are perfect! BTW....thanks for giving us so much to look at in the way of embellies and techniques!
The blooms on the flowers and trees in the spring for me serve as a reminder of growth and new beginnings! What a beautiful way to remember your daughter's birthday every year. Gorgeous!
Beautiful. Like the story, framing, rolled paper framing, border, stamps. Really like the way you cut the prima paper on the right so that it looks like dye cut paper. Our boys were both born in February too (Greg on February 23rd)!. Thanks also for the congrats on Greg's fellowship! Cindy
Oh my goodness Jen, this is fantastic! The tag, the flowers, the lace, well all of it! Beautiful work, and what a wonderful story behind the tree! (That really is ironic)
Beautiful lo, FLOWERS :) and story! It would be hard having her so far away. Ironic though that she is in Japan Jen! Your flowers turned out great! Oh, and to have something this beautiful BLOOMING in February.....doesn't happen here in IN!! My bday is just 3 days later :) kathy
Jen I love the colors you used the browns, pinks and greens!! The way you cut the paper on the side and matted the tree photo. This LO looks amazing!!!

Journaling "Our Japanese tulip tree is ALWAYS in full bloom on Sabrina's birthday - Feb. 24th. We took her picture each year by it. Now that she lives in Japan, the blooms are a living reminder to us. We miss her so much. 2-24-10" It's ironic to us that our tree is a japanese tulip tree.
