I love the colours you have used here and the shapes. I agree that each element is a little lost on the background. If you don't want to redo the photo larger, maybe matting it on a dark background would seem to make it bigger and draw the focus to it. Congratulations on the puzzle pieces. I was admiring them, wondering where I could get some before reading that you'd made them!
Great LO. I really like the puzzle pieces. I have yet to try that. I would agree with everyone else at this moment. I know you have journaling at the bottom but perhaps you can add a quote or poem about pieces...I have seen some in mags. I am sure you could google it. That would fill it more. It is great you have a wonderful picture to scrap!
I really like the colors in this. I agree with what everyone else said. I think it would look great if the puzzle pieces were more organized rather than all over the page. The photo is so cool!
I like the colors and how you have them placed on the page. I will say that everything seems just a little lost on the page due to the size. I would suggest punching it up by focusing on your title and making it much larger, then creating a section for the puzzle pieces. If you want the picture bigger, you can do that in PSP or another simular program. PM me and I can walk you through it.
Make your word "PUZZLE" much bigger down the side - remove the sun and maybe put the puzzle pieces into small blocks by themselves. I like your lo ideas and the photo is a sweet memory keep.
You made the puzzle pieces?!?! I'm impressed, they look great! One thing I would do is make the title bigger. And I agree with Dawn about the sun. I like the colors also.
I really like the colors in this LO alot!! I think the right side looks a little heavy, and I'm not sure how the sun ties in. Maybe you could add a chunky ribbon across the top and lose the sun. You did a really nice job on this LO and I love the puzzle pieces too!
I didn't know how to make my old pictures larger when I made this. I mainly did it to use some puzzle pieces I had made and they went well with the picture of my aunt and great aunt doing a puzzle. The geometric background paper seemed to tie right in too. Other than making the picture larger, what else would you do? Sheryl
