Oh Pegs. OH MY GOSH. What on earth were you thinking raising the bar like that? How on EARTH do you DO it? Every time I think you can't do "more," you do not only MORE but beyond that.
This LO is just amazing. There are not enough adjectives.

You have completely outdone yourself here!!!!!!!!! I am at a loss as to where to begin, so will just sent it straight to my faves where I can contemplate at my liesure!
For the second week of this month's Round Robin challenge at Swirlydoos, Meg picked me to follow Lisa (StarSailorScrapper). She's is such a hard act to follow with her incredible creativity and sense of design, but I did my best.
The stitched border was done by hand using a Bazzill template. I cut the cardboard using one of the Technique Tuesday Swanky Frames to guide me. Then for the fun: lots of paint, first Gesso, then a layer of yellow acrylic, topped by a layer of green. While waiting for each coat to dry, I got out some LuminArte watercolors that I bought at last month’s mini convention and colored the pretty die cut that was in last month’s kit. I used my Tim Sizzix die and the gorgeous vellum that came with this month’s kit to cut out flower layers. I cut the tulle into squares and folded them in quarters to make the next to the bottom layer. The leafy branches were cut with my Cricut; I gave the white flowers a few sprays of Tuscan Sun Spritz. And the butterfly!!!! This is one of Lisa’s from her Summer Sorbet tutorial, cut then edged with Doodlebug Sugar Coating.
Despite being so early this year, Easter turned out to be warm and sunny. Around 3:00, Carla (my DIL) and I took Sophia outside for a photo shoot. We didn’t get too many stills because there were too many interesting things to discover, especially the grass that was fun to pull and more fun to walk on barefooted.
(Sorry for the shadows all over the image; I photographed this in a rush yesterday morning before going to work to take advantage of the last sun that I’m going to see until next week.)
