OUT with the depressing winter and IN with some California sunshine! We spent the last week of March Spring Break in CA...Disneyland for 3 days and Hollywood/L.A. for 4 days. I took these pics at Santa Monica beach. We only stopped there for a couple hours one afternoon because I refused to leave California without dipping toes in the ocean. My youngest dd and I were the only ones to actually go on the beach cuz it was a little windy...and the water was FREEZING! The other wimps in my family watched us above from the pier. When I saw this FancyPants collection "Rusted Sun", I knew it would be perfect for my first CA lo! I tried something new with the Smooch spritz... sprayed it onto the mask and the stamped it onto that half circle sun. I liked the effect, but I covered most of it up with my photo collage! lol! Also FORCED myself to stitch around the sun and rays when I wanted to be lazy last night and just ink them :) Thanks for looking....hope it's sunny where you are right now!!!
