February NO Shopping Challenge - Week #3 Challenge - Use a color of cardstock that you hate! I chose "grass green."
~ Sorry about the not-so-great picture, but I was trying to get it uploaded at the very last minute--literally!! ~
journaling reads:
One day we noticed a pinecone had fallen from one of the pine trees in our sideyard. Annah & Sylvia wanted to pick some more off the tree, but most were up high, so we could only reach a few.
So the next time we visited Krampa & Gram, the girls asked Krampa to take them pinecone picking. Of course, Krampa wouldn't miss a chance to spend time with his grandkids AND help them learn about nature!
We started out around the front yard and found dandelion "wishes" to blow. Then we came to an oak tree that had shed its acorns, so they picked up a bunch. (The girls wanted to save room in their bucket for pinecones though, so they didn't pick them ALL up!) When we got to the sideyard, we found some pine trees with low brances so Annah & Sylvia could pick some pine cones! They filled their bucket, got all sticky with sap, and a great time on their pinecone picking walk!
