These photos are from our last night in Moncton last weekend. We went up to visit my sister (SarahBarah on this site) and her DH who just moved there about a month ago. We had a blast and there will be more layouts to come! Crystal Palace (a small indoor amusement park geared more towards younger kids) was the highlight, as well as this evening out at a steakhouse. We don't usually eat dessert when we eat out with our kids so the kids have never seen such large desserts before, let alone try to eat them! For the fun of it we let them each order their own full sized dessert even though we knew they'd never finish them... and we knew we'd regret it when the sugar kicked in.
What I forgot to write about on the layout was how the waiter brought them fancy drinks with cherries strewn on swords and their girls proceeded to eat their food with those swords and insisted on brining them home. We also sat right next to the fish tank and the girls named all the fish and were going to quiz the waiter on their names before they left. I might add some more journalling, or tuck something in between the pages.
I put a few things together from the March Scarlet Lime kit for this layout. Not sure I like how I put those 3 bead-flowers along the top of the larger flower. They look a little too contrived. I put a circle of bling around Sophie's giant dessert.
