This is one of my favorite layouts you've done Lesley --- it is SOOOOOOO sharp --- love everything about it -- starting with those wonderful pictures ---- just super beautiful layout!
Wow! This is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love how you matched the color tones in the pics to the papers! I love the flourish and your title alphas, too ~ Stunning in every way!!!
WOW Lesley!!!! This pix are just Fantastic!!!! And you scrapped them perfectly!!!! Fab work! We'd love to go to Ireland some day! Dh's Grandma Kelly was born there.
This is Beautiful!! Love the clock and swirl at the top and the punch work....really pretty lo and great photos! I can see why they are so special to you!!
What wonderful and quaint photos; always wanted to visit Ireland! Love your choice of lovely papers and great details! Truly love it! ...and that flourish is gorgeous!
WOWOW!!!! This looks fantastic and the pictures are fantastic too!~ Love the old buildings and what a cool story to go with them! And I love those old cobble stone streets!!
Fabulous - so wonderful that you could get such good pics without a soul in sight. (I am in North Dakota right now, tracking down my hubby's Native roots from the Mandan Tribe.)
Lesley, you've captured something special in this LO, with truly an Old World feel to it. Love your platinum photos and can tell it is a different look than we typically see. Your embellies are perfectly chosen as well. A fave.
This is lovely. Love the double matting and just the right amount of embellishment. The coin, braid, picket fence and lattce punch really add a nice feel to the beautiful photos and the background paper is perfect.
Jumped right into the middle of my last big o/seas trip just for a change of pics. This is Ferns, County Wexford Ireland, the township of my ancestors and the reason I visited Ireland, was lucky enough to meet the man whose father bought the original homestead of my g.g.grandfather who fled there in 1842 for Australia.
Becase these pics are so special for me I had them printed off in 'Platinum' and it creates the most amazing 3D effect, unfortunately it doesn't show, on picture of this layout though. It was a wet miserable Sunday and not a sole in sight . Love d the cobbled streets and buildings looked like nothing had changed in centuries, wonderful part of the world thats for sure.
papers were Kaisercraft
Martha Stewart Punch for lacework above right side picture, Cricut cart Storybook for the top flourish, and Lyrical letters for the title word Ferns.
