Mon-Fri breakfasts are usually quick and less involved, but I like to make something special on Sat & Sun. A dear friend told me about the German Pancakes she likes, so I looked up some recipes. Found a recipe for a smaller version called a Dutch Baby. While it was baking, I simmered some cranberries and raspberries in orange juice to serve on the side. Mmmm, it was delish! It is a new weekend favorite! Served hot with powdered sugar and real maple syrup, makes a great start to my Saturday! LOL

I used;
Bo Bunny shitake dot
Webster's sweet as cherry pie
DCWV Mariposa cs stack~ red for title
DCWV neutral mat stack 6x6~ brown/blue for matting
heart & flower stick pins (thanks, Deb)
red ink
PULL-out tag with sheer ribbon~ has hidden journaling
Mini calendar page~ April
Fiskars oval scallop punch
MAMBI Vintage Scrappy Chic ephemera~ milk label
Songbird Cricut Cartridge for title
foam dots

Journaling under the woman states," the secret ingredient in life is family."

Mix 2 eggs, 4 oz milk, 1/3 cup flour, 1/4 stick melted butter, 1 and 1/2 TB sugar, dash vanilla in blender. Pour into greased 8" cast iron skillet;bake 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with fruit preserves and maple syrup. CAN double recipe~use larger skillet! Pancake will deflate as it cools. recipe from Food Network Magazine
