Yummmm... Lucky I live in Oz or I would over for breakfast on the weekend. This is such a fabulous layout...we should scrap the little things in our life more. Love it!!!
Yumm Yumm, now that is a way to serve a breakfast and do a layout. Love it all. I will so have to give it a try. Now on the look out for a cast iron skillet....
I love the German pancake!! my mother in law makes it and I love it!! love this lo Shawn!! makes me wish a piece of your German pancake!! mmmmmmm delicious!!
This is so sweet...pun intended. I still haven't figured out how to use those pps...you did a great job with them. My sister and I "discovered" dutch babies at a pancake restaurant in Fremont Cal. That's only 20 minutes away...I might have to take a trip on down that way. Sounds good right now...as does your berries simmered in oj. Great job! And thanks for the recipe!!
Delicious page in every way, Shawn! The meal looks scrumptious and I'm sure many of us will be trying out the recipe. I love the vintage look to this page...I have images of Betty Crocker leaping in my brain. The cherry pie pp reminds me very much of wallpaper you would have seen in my grandma's house in the 50s. The wild mix of wallpaper and fabric patterns in that era were mind-boggling! I have a photo of my mom sitting on the sofa at my grandma's house that I want to scrap. The patterns are dizzying! Anyway...this LO brings me joy and inspiration. I love the quote you used also. A fave for me.
What I like most is that you included the recipe and now we can all try it - you're an angel! This is great fun - and I love the title! (Now as if I didnt always think of you when eating panettone, I have a new yummy something!).
Gorgeous page!!!! Did you include the recipe in the page somewhere? They sound delicious!!!!! I love how you cut out the picture of the lady and added the quote underneath~great quote!!! I just got the Songbird cart too and I love it!!!!!
Mon-Fri breakfasts are usually quick and less involved, but I like to make something special on Sat & Sun. A dear friend told me about the German Pancakes she likes, so I looked up some recipes. Found a recipe for a smaller version called a Dutch Baby. While it was baking, I simmered some cranberries and raspberries in orange juice to serve on the side. Mmmm, it was delish! It is a new weekend favorite! Served hot with powdered sugar and real maple syrup, makes a great start to my Saturday! LOL
