Here he is again: Marty McFly the unholy Terrier! To get him to sit still long enough to pose for a photo is nothing short of a.....treat in my hand! Marty is my friends Lin and Jon's dog. He's the one who survived the bite of a baby rattlesnake in November. He is the "brother" of O'nge Kitty who I've scrapped before also.

Marty has the energy level of a four year old boy who's consumed a six-pack of Mountain Dew and a full bag of Halloween candy! The only way to tire him out is to have him run on a leash while you bicycle at top speed through the neighborhood. After the ride/run, he will collapse in a heap, exhausted. Ten minutes later, he's ready to go again! Jon and Lin are both blessed with lots of energy, so Marty is a good match for their lifestyle.

When I come to visit and occasionally dog/cat sit, Marty is beyond exuberant. BOING, BOING, BOING! Like a Mexican jumping bean he's up and down with glee. But, he's also the best couch cuddler in the world; content to just be with people who love him and appreciate the fact that he's not a perfect dog. The laughter and joy he creates is worth every bit of the work. (O'nge Kitty may have a differing opinion, however.)

I love this set of double-sided dog papers by Reminisce. They are so much fun to play with for someone like me who loves red and dark brown together. The houndstooth paper is my favorite because it can be used on other LOs. I doodled the border with a brown ZIG pen and also outlined the circle and alphas for some extra pop.

If you look closely, on the word 'Puppy' I ran out of "p"s. As any ingenious scrapper would, I substituted an "l" and cut the side off an "o" to make a "P"!

This LO is for Krista's April Scrap Your Pet Challenge.

Thanks for taking a look! -Karen-
