Very striking! I love the chandelier and the florals you used. Those elements, combined with the French title and dimly-lit photo, make for a romantic layout.
this is gorgeous, Sheila! You sound like me-I always try to stamp on something separate that i can attach!!I don't use stamps all that often,so when I do I'm terrified that I'll wreck the whole thing. Also good idea with the lace-I coloured mine with a Sharpie and that was kind of a hassle. Beautiful page, girl! fav!
not the only one.....I permanently sit here with scrapper's fear, that's why my layouts take so long!!!! I didn't realise you could 'die' lace that way, so thanks for the tip! a lovely and romantic layout!!
This is my D-StepSon&Fiance at our outing at the Beach in January...so glad I got this romantic looking shot of them. The two hearts were punched using recycled tissue box (I used Archival Mist to make it acid-free....hope it works) The Offray Lace @ WM...I wanted it black (originally beige) so I added TH Distress Ink and used the heat gun on it. The last thing I did was stamp a flourish onto acrylic...was too afraid to apply it directly to layout since I was almost done in case it messed up....am I the only one with "STAMPERS FEAR"??? lol TFL
