Journaling reads: "Jessica, you have such a tenderness about you that lays just beneath the surface. You really just want to please us and help the family out whenever you can. Lately, you have been volunteering to wash the table off after eating (I think you secretly love the sponge). You enjoy carrying the leash while I or Daddy take Linky out for walks and you love giving her treats when we return home. You keep an eye on Ryan while I’m washing out his bottle. You even help me to throw out his diapers (but only if they don’t contain anything really stinky - and I can’t blame you for that!). When I’ve been putting Ryan down for his second nap in the afternoon you’ve been tiptoeing into his room to join me. And then you touch his face and and caress his head so gently and lovingingly while you sing him a lullaby. You are a constant source of joy for me. You are so beautiful in your innocence and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to be your mom. Sure we have some rough days as all families do, but deep down I know that you are my sweet girl."
