I don't know how I missed all of these pages!!! I am going to comment on them all. I really love this. I especially love the 'round little face' quote. Too cute!
What a bright fun layout! Lots of creative things here! I really like the "a" on the two color tag and the biggie brads (I only have them in solid black!!). I really like Dana's suggestion of cutting down the pp and matting on one of the solid colors. I might also......if you're a little brave and careful....outline the white title letters with a thin black fine point marker. They show up great on the solids, but get a little lost against the patterned paper. I might also stamp something in the center of the circle tag on the top. A frog? or draw a lady bug? or a sticker of a turtle.? something bright and outdoors that's why I'm thinking spring outdoor animals!! or creatures! Love the peek a boo photo too!!
What a cool title. I also love the big brads. The picture is so deceiving because it almost looks like you put red paper on top and then cut a hole in it to bring out the picture of Jonah's face. Great dimension.
Love this Heidi. Love the A that is off kilter with the paper clip...Love the tag with the washer and handwriting...How cool are those huge brads...Love, Love, Love that pp!! gotta get me some...
i love how you used the bazzil big brads, they look great. The background for this is very busy. I find that cutting as little as an inch of of pp like that and matting it on a complementary cs,helps detract the eye from the busy paper and draw it to the photo. for instance you could mat the layout in green. i hope that make sense. you seem to be getting more confortable with using embelishments. Your title looks great because of it.
This is a picture I took of my son at the park near my oldest sister's house. I thought his round little face was perfect in that round little hole in the tunnel. I decided to keep this LO simple with all that striped paper happening. The strip on the bottom says, "Round little face, round little hole, only one thing to do..." and then the title is PeekAboo with foam stamps (MM). The handwriting on the tag says, JOJO @ the park, 2-3-06. The edges are all chalked in red, but it's hard to see on camera. The colors are a lot brighter too in person. Bummer. I was so excited about those big 'ol mm brads with the polka dots, kinda fun to use. I even added that little washer on the tag, I don't think it shows up well though. Thanks for looking!
