Journaling: May 1, 2010 NSBD Why do I scrapbook? Of course, I do it to preserve memories and tell stories -- to freeze-frame moments in time. That's a given. But it's not the only reason. Scrapbooking has helped me tap into creativity I never knew I had. Even more than that, it has given me the opportunity to be inspired by and become friends with wonderful people from around the globe. People who support me in my real life and who teach me new things every day.

I printed avatar pics for some of the people I've talked to regularly over the course of my time here at sb.com -- I wish I had room for more of my friends on the LO. I feel sick about leaving people out! I wrote their first names and state/country in a light colored pen on each pic.

I hand drew the tree trunk on cardboard, and then cut it out and inked it. I hand drew the 'leaves' on pp and cut it out also.
