SHCG - Upbeat & spirited page! I love your smile. The color scheme, pp & flowers are refreshing & fun. Awesome handwritten journaling! I can visualize what Brenda said re: moving the top flowers to the edge of the blue matte, I think having opposite corners of the pic nestled in flowers would look cool. But that's just an idea, I already like the page just fine as is!
SHCG: The colors you chose on this page are really wonderful. I also really like the different textures of the flowers and buttons. In addition you do a wonderful job of taking a blank piece of paper and adding a few embellishments to make it look just right. Great job too with the handwritten journaling. No suggestions here...I love the page the way it is.
SHCG: Very, very nice page! I like the torn paper, the flowers, and of course your great picture. The way you did the journaling, with the emphasized words, is great too. I really like it as it is, but I'd consider using a ribbon with more similar colors to the rest of the lo and I'd swap the red flower with a blue one. I know the red accents pick up on the red in the photo, but I actually think that draws away from the picture. The rest of the colors blend well with the photo, and having the bold red only in the photo would really draw your eye to it.
SHCG: I don't think it's a horrible picture with a smile like that! I love the contrast between the feminine flowers and the more masculine pp gears. I like the clock flower center and that you featured some key words in your journaling. I also like the varied flower textures and the paper tearing. Your white doodles are nice touches, too. I'd like to see the top two flowers moved right, to the edge of the blue mat, and the ribbon piece from the bottom moved to the top left of your photo. I think this will create a visual triangle that will keep the focus on that infectious smile.
SHCG: I really like the use of so many colors and patterns and non patterned papers. The tearing at the bottom of the piece under you picture is a great touch. It is great to see your journaling in your handwriting as it adds that personal touch to the LO. You are a beautiful lady with a fantastic smile and I can't believe there is ever a bad picture of you.
I know this is a horrible picture. I didn't have my camera and had to use my cellphone :( The journaling reads: Scrapping allows me to preserve memories for generations to come, explore my creative side and escape the craziness of the day!! MOST importantly it gives me another reason to scrap
