Give a Cheer
This is the layout that I came up with for the All Day Challenge for NSBD here on sb.com. I don't like the way it photographed and may redo it in the daylight but for now, I'm working under a deadline!! lol The journalling reads.... Once upon a time I had no interest in scrapbooking. It was just something my bff Sharon did. I admired her work but it had nothing to do with me. I had no artistic talent, no creative side. And then 5 years ago my sweet nephew Andrew was born and I decided it might be fun to scrap his first year of life. Sharon took me shopping for a few necessary supplies. She invited me to a crop where I discovered that there was way more to this pasttime than the simple art of crafting. Before I knew what hit me I was hooked! I fell in love with Tim Holtz, Thickers, BasicGrey, Prima, Sassafras. I bought so much patterned paper and cardstock that I had to have a huge garage sale so that I could get rid of all of the unecessary stuff that I accumulated over the years, things like clothes and shoes and books and household goods. I tuned my den into a scrapping room. Now I spend countless hours creating layouts and cards and altering items because through scrapbooking I have discovered that I do have a creative side & more than that I know that .... I'm in good company! the end nsbd 2010.
I had a lot of fun doing this one! Just noticed that I used the word feel instead of fell, just changed it on the lo irl! :)
