I'm looking through pages with quilting themes to get ideas for a page I'm working on about my husband's grandmother. Yours is wonderful....you put a lot of heart and feeling into this!!! Thank you for the inspiration!!

Timeless Grace & Strength

I've had this photo since my Grandma passed away. I wanted to do something special with it, but still get it in my scrapbook. Grandma was the family pillar of strength - in many ways she still is - thus the "Timeless" title. She inspires me in so many ways. Even as I was searching for the right words to use on this page I found myself saying "thanks Gram" when the right word came to mind. Grandma was a huge quilter and hand embroiderer. I can't embroider very well at all, but I can quilt (a skill I learned from helping her in her basement). I wanted to use scrap materials to do this page, a tribute to our times basting together quilt faces in her basement. I hope she would like it.
