This is my youngest at 6 months old with his hand wrapped around my thumb. I have had the concept for this page about my blessing baby in my head for a long time. The design is a lift from the Basic Grey design team for the Kioshi line. I thought simplicity suited this best. All pp here is Crate.

The journaling box at the bottom says:
During a low time in my life when I was grieving a loss, the mom of a dear friend came to see me. She told me a story about a blessing baby. In was a beautiful story of hope and renewal and comfort. In the story, God provided protection and care, which wasn't always visible immediately or on the surface, but over time, God's promise was evident. Her story reminded me that God never forgets and He never abandons and He never fails. I am so lucky to have known that kind of love. And I am so grateful for you, little one. You are my Blessing Baby and I love you true.

The verse in the upper left says: Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. ~ 1 Corinthians 13
