This lo is of my g-pa at the beach...
Last summer, we took Grandpa to Destin
with us for the first time in a long time.
My Grandma had just passed away a
couple months before and we didn’t want
to leave him alone. He has always loved
being outdoors and swimming, but my
grandma was deathly afraid of the water
so he never got to go. This was the first time
he’d been to the beach in about 20 years.
He was so excited to go and kept yelling
“91!” because he was so proud of being
able to go swimming at his age. He
wanted to float more than anything and
to prove to himself that he could still do
it. I am so glad he had fun and was
able to float on his own, without any
help.
