Oh yes, this is a very good idea. I just inherited by grandmother-in-laws sewing boxes and she had a ton of ribbon. I am defintetly going to try this out. I even have a couple of those boxes at home. Thanks for sharing.

I got inspired by the Pull-Ez ribbon storage, but I thougt it looked boring and that the ribbons would get very dusty. So I did it the other way around. I took a piece of cartonage and made a lot of holes in it in different sizes. Then I folded it on two spots so itīs like a big V, but the bottom is about an inch instead of just the folding. On the bottom I wrote "If you can see this you need to shop ribbon". Couldnīt help myself. :-) I took a KASSETT storage box from IKEA and put the V in it. Then I folded the V so I could put the ribbon behinde the V on both sides. Then I just took a piece of ribbon and pulled through the hole, like 3-4 inches or so and then let it go. Then next ribbon with a new hole. When Iīve filled it up I pressed down the "legs" of the V so you canīt see whatīs behind them. When you open the box you just see a bunch of holes with ribbon in them. No dusting. :-) I also write notes on the inside of the lid on what ribbon manufacturers I prefer. Always good to have when your memory is short.
