just saw this and wanted to tell you and your family "thank you" from the bottom of my heart for all the sacrifices you go through. this layout is wow. it gave me goosebumps(which is the ultimate compliment). your son is blessed to have your hubby as a daddy. thanks again....
the journaling brought tears to my eyes. What a precious memory to pass on to your son. But, most importantly, what a special thing to share with us.
Thank You!
This made me cry so much...a friend of mine will be home in about 10 days for the birth of not only his first child...but it is also a son. he has been in Iraq for the past five months and hes not going to be home for long. even though i date a soldier i cant imagine how hard it would be to leave your new born so soon after meeting them...i wish all our troops well...and may they ALL come home again....about the layout..i guess i should get to that part...i LOVE it...
That is beatiful. I love the color and ribbon used but most of all I love the picture and journaling. This layout shows alot of emotion and this is a time in your lives that you will want to cherish forever. Great job on capturing this moment.
That journaling rocks!! As a former military wife I know your sacrifices and commend you for being strong....Your son will be so proud of his daddy one day :) This is great!!
This lo is perfect!! Your journaling is so moving and heartfelt. I can only imagine what the hidden journaling says. I love the zipper pulls and all the ribbons too.
This is a layout about when my husband had to say goodbye to our son. THere is hidden journaling on a huge Tag behind the Main photo, but my husband has asked that it not be made public. It is a letter he wrote to our son while on the plane. The Non-hidden journaling is in my voice and reads: This was a hard day, and one of the most difficult moments of my Life. I stood by and watched your daddy say goodbye to you. You were eleven Days old on this fateful morning, and Daddy had to leave. He’s a soldier and a soldier must go when they are called. He had come home to watch you come into this world, and he wouldn’t be back again until you were six months old. He missed your first Halloween, first Thanksgiving, and first Christmas. He missed your first smile and your first laugh. But the first time you saw him again you smiled so big and reached for him. The look on his face was unforgettable. He knew at that moment that you loved him, and you knew your Daddy.
