this is beautiful! What wonderful texture and details. I like the little metal frame you used especially.

PS- I hate to give unsolicited advice, but I too take digital photos of my layouts. I have found the best way to keep all the background out and to keep it more square, is to find a very sunny spot on the floor or even out of doors. Put your layout down and stand directly over the top of it, lining the top edge of the paper with the edge of the view finder. Do not use a flash. If you look through my gallery, you will see that all of my early layouts have countertop in them, but then I finally came up with my new method. I hope that this is helpful to you and not too pushy.

The paper is actually just gorgeous embossed paper by stampendous, used as is except I cut a strip off the side! It came in my monthly kit from www.scrapgoods.com and they do an awesome job of picking out the nicest stuff! It's a bit expensive but since I basically just started out it's good for me since I don't really have much of my own scrapbooking materials yet :)
This is the opening page to the family reunion we had this summer where my family met in Cape Cod to put my Grandmother's ashes out to sea where my Grandfather's were put 30 years ago.
