Jen,
I love the way you used the DA flourish to feature your title, which is sort of the whole idea of the photo to begin with. What you've done is double connect them, if that makes sense. The beige and red is a great color scheme!
"Nobody can do for children what grandparents do. Grandparents sprinkle stardust over the lives of children." Jen, I just love that saying, I am dreaming of grandbabies, my daughter swears I only have to wait a little while longer...sigh..anyway, this is just beautiful, you are truely an atrist.
Love the journal paper, music rub ons, swirls, clocks & journaling in the form of a letter. You are all so fortunate to have each other. Love Grandpa Fletcher too!
Jen, this is a wonderful photo Sabrina will love looking at this one !!!!! The journaling is perfect has always :)))) Love all your layering and the flower from Mr. Fletchers old book just beautiful!!!! another great LO!!! Deb :))))
Wow this is awesome...so many wonderful details and such a sweet story. Love the colors and I so appreciate all the loving "labor" that went into this. I can't wait to get my hands on some of that dusty attic stuff. Love that scrolly thing..it is beautiful as is the whole layout. Great photo too.
Jen, you are SO TALENTED!!! There is so much to look at and to enjoy in this LO.....first and foremost is the sentiment expressed re: grandparents. Also, your layering and all the little embellies are to die for! LOVE IT ALL!!!
Wow, Jennifer, I think this is my all time fave of yours. Love the message and you've so beautifully scrapped it for Sabrina. Lots to look at without being overly done. Wow!
I do believe you are Tim Holtz's alter ego, Jennifer Fletcher!!! (or should I say "alterED ego"? LOVE the quotation and the overall message behind this page, including your journalling. My children were also very fortunate to grow up with their grandparents nearby. The title you created with the Dusty Attic is almost my FAVE element....almost, but there are many more! Inspirational, Jen!!
love the heartfelt journaling. it was a true treasure for your dd to be able to be so close to her grandparents. and you have created a beautiful lo for her to cherish always. love it!!!!
Journaling (in the form of a letter) " Dear Sabrina, When you look at this photo, taken in your sophomore year of High School at York School,on Grandparent's Day, September 1998, I hope you know what a gift it was to grow up in the same town as your grandparents. The close relationship you had with them is something I will treasure. To have your Grandpa Fletcher move from Florida to live with us while you were in junior high and high school is so special too. Always keep this gift in your heart. Love, Mom"
Quote reads "Nobody can do for children what grandparents do. Grandparents sprinkle stardust over the lives of children."
