SHCG: Another VERY interesting page. They are so happy-go-lucky but little do they know what's going on behind them. Watch out giant paper balls are about to roll you over .
SHCG - Wow, what an intriguing page. The whole tableau you've created fascinates me - your ex-sisters-in-law in the rain, the words surrounding them...I can't help but wonder about the stories behind them & why they're exes. I think the arms/hands fit in perfectly w/ the skewed storybook proportions everyone in your book has. I how everything is placed - the torn pp in the sky, the circles on the ground & of course the ex-sis' in their fabulous finery. The stained glass paint rain is genius. Another incredible page for your great book!
SHCG: I have some catching up to do and I am starting now going back in time, so I have yet to learn what this album is all about, but I have to say this page rocks. I get this magazine in the mail every month called rock, paper, scissors and this page looks so much like the art that is published in this magazine. I love it....it is so very different from other pages posted to this site. Contrats on thinking outside of the normal mold.
SHCG: This is so adorable. The background paper is awesome, love the rain affect and the paper you used for the clouds. The people are fab, love the clothes and the umbrella and t-rex hands are great, lends so much to the whimsical quality of these layouts :)
SHCG:I think I agree with Brenda this is my fave page! I really like their clothes! Love the cloud with the rain falling down! The pp u chose for the clous is great! I am really loving your uniqueness at scrappin!
SHCG: This might just be my fave page in this album. I love those raindrops, all the grey streaks and splatter, the flowery storm clouds, and the bushes on the ground. So cute the way you pieced together their outfits, especially the added feather, ribbon, and daffodils. The t-Rex arms are a hoot! Glad you're keeping them. The journaling is absolutely perfect and poetically placed. Overall, this is such a provocative page because of its mix of pastels, facial expressions, sentiments, and moods. Fab, Brian!
SHCG: I chuckled at this LO too. I love the raindrops and the darker smudges along with them, coming from the "dark cloud" overhead. The pics are too perfect for this LO. This is going to be an amazing book to look at.
Obvious metaphor going on here. This is my two ex-sisters-in-law. After many failed white gloves, I just used my original small sketches, giving these ladies a sort of t-rex quality that makes me laugh. I used clear stained glass paint to make the raindrops.
