I took this photo of my DS recently and didn't realize until after I downloaded/printed the photo what a young man he is becoming. The journaling reads: "It wasn't until after I took this photo that I realized how much you have changed in th past year. Maybe I just didn't want to see it. You are my baby...my first born. You are changing & maturing everyday showing signs of your independance. I don't know what to expect as we journey through the next few years, but I know I will enjoy & embrace every moment as I watch you grwo into the fine young man you'll become. I'm sad to see the little boy in you go, but at the same time enjoying watching the young man in you emerge." I was looking for a masculine look to the page. I roughed us the edges of the photos with sandpaper and distressed paper & embellishments.
