This is the last page of the album and I really wanted to leave the Geml family with how much we adore them. So each of us wrote something from our heart. The original idea was to have a picture taken of all nine of us together to go in the center of the cross. We'll have to fill that in when we see them again … hopefully sooner than later!

Journaling Reads:

I cherish that you have brought me closer to Jesus. You made me feel special because you took the time for me. My favorite part of church was the children's message and how Pastor said, “You look good.” As the days I go on I will pray and think of you and never forget you. I heart U Lilian Cox

To describe what you mean to me could take more than awhile, so instead I made this scrap book from my heart and a smile.

It is a mark of respect of something we shared over the years, I hope you'll enjoy it as each page has brought me many tears.

I started it from the beginning it seemed too short ago, that a man, his wife, and their family I honorably got to know.

Your instillation was the first that I had ever seen, it had to be very special, those white robes were perfectly clean.

When you initially spoke at our church pulpit I instantly perked up, I knew right then from God through you I'd always have a filled cup.

Moving to and living in Ohio could not have been all that shoddy, a buckeye isn't only a dessert, or a seed that is for just any body.

Please let me tell you my memories are a heartfelt list long, we laughed, we cried, and we prayed which kept us very strong.

In the 2nd pew we shared many worships, small groups, and VBS, delicious food, great wine, and fellowship with beer, oh yes.

There were holidays, birthdays, showers, and weddings oh my, a hairy gorilla, interesting golf, a zoo, and the 4th of July.

Now that you have uprooted to a new church and congregation, they are so blessed to be with you in faithful Godly conversation.

Your family had come and gone what seemed like an instant, all I can say now is, “Well done good and faithful servant.”

Love you, Christine

(SCRAP BOOK SYNOPSIS: When we found out this past April-2010 our Senior Pastor of our church had accepted a call to a new church it was a bitter/sweet emotion for us. We were certainly happy for the new congregation, but we were really sad that our dear friends and shepherd were moving away. So, my dh and I threw a going away F*I*E*S*T*A for the Geml family and invited our “gang” for fun and fellowship. After a fajita dinner, dh and I presented the Geml's with a 30 page scrap book that I made for them. This was a tribute to their family, from our family on how much they really meant to us. We had an enjoyable evening of fellowship, food, good-tears, fun, games, and Margarita's!!!)
