I decided to try 'zentangling' and this is my first attempt. I thought I would do a a layout to show off my work. Ii used black cardstock and embellished with rub ons and patterned paper that were in the doodling theme. Journaling: "I saw a post regarding "Zentangles." I was totally caught off guard because I had never heard this term. I was in a scrapbook forum and thought I had been exposed to most of the terminology regarding layouts. Upon further investigation I found out that Zentangles is a form of doodling: something I do whenever I am on the phone. Zentangles just gives the doodler a little more structure in their artwork. This is an example of my first Zentangle. I decided to stay with black and white for the time being and maybe branch out later if my doodling urges become more developed." As an afterthought I entered this in the May~Doodle Challenge.
