This is stunning and your dress's train is beautiful. Love the sheerness of it! Your daughters really look like you! Good for you to scrap this beautiful picture! I love it!
There is so much to love on this page! Great that you were able to scrap this page. I'm glad you did, even though some things in life we would prefer not to repeat, they all add up to make us who we are. *hug*
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful bride and page. Love the added lace in the circle frame. Your description made me laugh out loud! That's the attitude! You definitely should scrapbook this. It's part of who you are.
Haha, love your edit note :o) This is really beautiful! I love how the embellishments blend right in with the background. I love the quilted look background... very elegant :o)
Love your quilted look! I will have to give that a try! Pretty pretty LO, and I agree, it is good to scrap the experiences that bring us to where we are today!
STUNNING LO - everything about it is very elegant, the papers, lace, flowers, pearls and (yes) your stitching decoration with gems. Attention to details, like the little pearl stick pin, makes this one of my FAVES.
Absolutely gorgoeus photo of you and who cares if it is from your first marriage!!!!! I love, love your dress - very pretty and very 60's!!!! Do you still have it? Your layout is totally beautiful with wonderful details!
oh read your lil story, thanks for sharing, but you made a beautiful looking bride, and a wonderful designed page, luv the lace under the hoop, and the 2 flower sprays look adorable, cute lil stick pin too, and such neat stitching
It's a great photo! I love the beading for the quilted effect. I've been meaning to try that too and just haven't got around to it yet. Love the lace going around the circle too. In my favs!
Wonderful work! I am glad you scrapped it as it is a pretty picture & it is part of you! I love the lace rin & the tufted effect inside! so pretty! tfs:)
It's part of your life -- glad you did it. What a gorgeous pic -- we think we're so old when we're 20. Love all the elements here. The lace around the circle is beautiful. so pretty.
Beautiful LO...Love the colours and yes I thought about the same thing about my 1st wedding...Should I, shouldn't I???? You have given me food for thought LOL....
Wow ! this is stunning...too young or not , you were a beautiful bride. And I think it's good to scrap the good as well as the bad...all of it makes us who we are!
I always wanted to do a layout of this but since it was from my first marriage it seemed a tad tacky but dh doesn't mind at all.. I love the photo. This was taken in 1967 and I was only 20. The marriage lasted longer than some thought it would but if it hadn't ended, I wouldn't have what I have now..so no regrets. I did some fake hand stitching and added the rhinestones for a quilted look which I have seen a few times..thought I'd give it a whirl. The circle is chipboard that I painted with Smooch. The thin reddish colored mat is stickled. This is entered in Craftysprinkles No Challenge challenge. I just edited this to add the word fake to hand stitching. I did no hand stitching..didn't mean to fib. PS as I mentioned I had seen this "quilted" look before and just remembered a couple places I've seen it. One is a layout of Gabriellp's called Sisters..I saw someone had lifted a recent one of hers with quilting and I thought THAT"s who's done this before so I went through her gallery. Also the very first layout I ever faved called Gorgeous by Linda Ola did the same thing but with actual stitching.
