I really like all the work with the flowers and the ribbon. The position of the photo really emphasizes the pose of the subject. It looks like she is peeking around the flowers.
What a pretty layout! I love the yellow feather and all of the special touches that you put on this layout...from the ribbon to the colored beads to the doodles...always amazing!
Oh goodness, this is a remarkable page! How beautiful is your grandmother. Love that sweet pic. You worked these papers perfectly and I love the added touch of the feather on the bird.
Girl this is really pretty! I luv the feather on the bird! :). I dont know how you keep up with everything everyone gives you, but good job! That pink rose paper is awesome!
Oh Cheryl!! This is soooooooo unlike your style, but I love it!!!!! I love the flowers and the BIRD!!! OMG, I love the bird!!!! Very creative my friend!!!! 2 thumps up!!!!!!!
Nice cut work there with the large flower! lol You cracked me up with the 'note to self'...too funny--I've made several of those which I always end up forgetting yet again! Overall great page...luv the birds!
Very S*M*A*R*T page Cheryl ... I dig the feathers for the birds wings, great scissor work ... and you did a great job on the ribbon. (Love the note to self!) =)
Wow ok first off, I want to say that Jasmine looks sooo much like her grandma! Wow!(so I think) This is a really nice layout! Lol i can see why Peter liked it ;)
Very pretty page, Cheryl! Lovin' those birdies!! They are sooo sweet, and that's a great photo of your MIL! Beautiful colours and wonderful cut work on the floral pp! All the scalloped edges look wonderful...and I had to laugh about your ribbon weaving comment. I have been thinking about trying that technique....so thanks for the tips!!! hee hee
This is so pretty! love the ribbon with the flowers! i love love that tree branch with the bird's an the feather is a very nice touch! love your border pounch!
It wasn't easy coming up with the mandated twist to this challenge....so I finally just gave up trying and this is what came of it. I tried the ribbon weaving technique for a first time and realized after I glued those flowers down you can't tell that I weaved the ribbon (so note to self...use bigger ribbon or smaller space marks lol). Thank you Kay (mugglescrapper) for the pps and the leaf stickers. Thank you Karen.W for the scallop punch and the blue flowers. Thank you Sol (S.Baker) for the bird that I gave a feather and eye to. Thank you Angelica for the clear beads I colored and put in the middle of the flowers. Thank you Veronica (Artsyscrapmom) for the alpha stickers. I used white fabric paint for the dots around the circle I cut with my scallop edge shears and matting. I used a white pen (from Karen.W) for the stitched doodles.
