photo of my grandmother from the WWI era. I just love the dramatic pensive pose. Multiple stamps and inks of the frame, journaling on block and on tag behind the block. Tag reads :The back of the photo in what I guess to be the hand of the studio photographer is labeled Miss Nora Michael, Brentwood, MD which is how I can come up with an approx. date. I wonder if she had to taken to send to "Dutch" her future husband who was in France with the Marines. I loved the pre-printed words, "your beautiful life" , on the journaling block so they focused that journaling.
