SCRATCH

Here come trouble…scratch scratch

Two of four of the kittens were playing around in the cat stand and when I sat down in the floor to watch them, they both just stopped and stared at me. I had to take their picture…a whole bunch of pictures actually, but this was one of my favorites from the night.

I used Byondzer's idea of the scratch pad. You can see it on the left side of the layout. I used some walnut ink on some white cardstock and then sprayed it with some coffee shop glimmer mist and then took a knife and tried to make some scratch marks in the paper. It looks just like the back of my couch too! LOL. And it's a good thing it up against the wall too! The little tag on the left says SCRATCH and it has some fake scratch marks on it.

When I went to cut out my circle, the blade was not very sharp and was not cutting properly. Since this was the only piece of teal cardstock that I had, I ended up cutting the circle by hand. Of course, it was not cut perfectly round so I had to add a few embellies to the circle to cover up some of my poor cutting.

The sketch is #122 by Trisha Hill and you can find Trisha right here on sb.com. The papers are from DCWV, The Pet Stack plus some brown, tan, and teal cardstock from The Paper Company. I used my new favorite punch by Martha Steward, Modern Garland. TFL!
