Oh yes the red flourish is icing on the cake. Don't you love those Copic markers? I love the picture and all the added lace, it even gives that 40's scrap book feel to the page. Great picture! Nice work!
That's such a precious photo. I'm glad you saved it from the rigors of being taped down. It deserves to be free and shine! I love the way you picked up the gingham from your mom's dress. Great design. So many wonderful details.
Great page, the colors and the embellies are perfect for this picture... great picture by the way. What a great idea to color the flourish... I don't have any alchool ink but I do have markers... What a terrific idea, TFS!
Just perfect! Love the pp combos and the lace around the pic is so pretty! Lots of pretty detail, had to keep scrolling up and down to get all the info to each little part!! Love it!!!
WOW. This turned out amazing. I love the graphic 45 paper, and it goes perfectly with the red polka dot. I have both those in my stash, but I don't think I would have ever thought to put them together. Thanks for the inspiration! The bling turned out wonderful. I usually color mine with alcohol ink, but the marker looks great too!
a very beautiful creation what a gorgeous foto of your mum/brother. so luv your framing around the foto and my I am wrapped in the prima vine and the red bling
My mother and oldest brother, 1944. This is for the June Use Your Supplies Challenge, week 1 with a twist. I used gingham print and the lace to match Moms outfit for the frame. Someone had taped this gorgeous photo in an album and ruined 3 of the corners. I used 4 different pp from 2 manufacturers and the background pp which is by Graphic 45 Playtimes Past has been in my stash a year. The other side has little old fashioned dresses which is what I bought if for...never used it. The little buggy is also from that line which is no longer listed in the superstore so I can't link it. I covered the bare chipboard heart with pp and inked it. The black letters are Basicgrey. The little journaling spot is a stamp I got at Ms for a buck and use all the time. Lace is from my local fabric store (lfs?) and the doily is from Ms. I colored the white pearl flourishes with a red copic marker..Love the way it looks. The little photo corner is by Melissa Frances and I inked it a bit. Martha Stewart punch.
