The first thing I would like to say is THANK YOU for your patience with me not being here much in the last few days. Mother will be getting to go home tomorrow, after her surgery. She is doing well and I will be staying with her until she can take care of herself. She has a computer, so I will be catching up with my comments on YOUR LOs.....PROMISE.....SMILE. I truly APPRECIATE all of your kind words and concern. You are all so kind to me, and I could not be more GRATEFUL!
What a JOY it was to do this LO!!! The techinques used were wet distressing, inking, stamping, folding, crackle painting and journaling. All flower embellies are Prima, and the pp is Graphic 45 (Le Romantique) and Basic Grey Manila Collection. Other supplies from my stash are metalic lace, , ribbon, brass heart and miniature love letters. The birdcage stamp is by clearartstamps, and it is called "Birds at Home". Also, included are antique lace and a small piece of scrap from my grandmother's collection.
The photograph is of my maternal parents during their courtship, circa 1919. Don't they look so in love? The location was Houston, Texas.
I would like to thank my dear friend, Lizzy Wurmann G. for her generous gifts to me. Most importantly, I would like to thank her for her friendship. Lizzy....Hope you like my creation from your sweet heart! BIG HUGS!!!
