here we go again: details details, Love how you used your older supplies in fresh ways, especially the journaling block frame. Love how you did the 1969 and how you used the flourishes and flowers. Your picture is just as sweet as can be...
Wow, I love all the layers and techniques that went into creating this amazing page! there is so much here to like that it is hard to name just a few things, just love how it all fits together and flows. The picture is just priceless, so adorable!
gorgeous lo! i love the pp you used! I especially love how you stitched the border on, so creative!! I love all the little touches with the gm & the pearly stuff! Love how you made the journaling tag and i thought you bought those numbers till i read your description. and btw thanks for taking the time to explain how you did everything!! and cool flowers LOL!!
This photo is my older sister and my little brother and we all have our baby dolls we got for Christmas in 1969.
For this lo, I used a mixtured of old scrapping supplies and new stuff! For the border, I used a really old piece of pp and I tore the border out of it and then stitched it to my background pp. I chalked around the border with some green cholak and used stickles on the holly and berries in the corners.
I used a new border punch on some red pp and added that to the bottom of the pic. I filled in the punches with some stickles and added some teeny pearl bling to the centers of the flowers.
I added some blingy flourishes and some flowers that I received from a very good scrapping friend (thanks Michelle!). I added some dots of Stickles around the bottom flowers and on the flowers. I added some green 'pearl' bling to the bottom of the pic.
For the journaling block, I used a piece of shaped journaling paper and added an old chipboard frame over it. I chalked around the inside of the frame. I added a picture hanger to the top with a red mini brad and tied a string bow. I chalked a Christmas ribbon and used the TH mini attacher to stple it to the frame.
For the date, I sprayed some diecut numbers with some Glimmer Mist and doodled around them with my white pen.
