this is just so awesome to have. what a precious thing. something about blankets being handed down or given to you that i love. i get blankets all the time from my friend as gift. awesome, beautiful quilt. love quilts. gorgeous memory.

My sweet mamma (grandmother) made this quilt by hand and embroidered her name, place and date on it. It says "Pearl K. Jamison Edom April 19, 1926. I wanted to keep this simple to show off the quilt. She could do anything.....she sewed by hand; by machine; did needlepoint; crocheted; raised chickens and ducks; persian kittens to sell; and even did carpentry work by sewing and building new back porch steps when ours were going bad! She died in '54, and I still miss her! TFL.
