I love small town America. It's so sad to see what the strip malls and interstates have done to them. LOVELY layout, Anna. It looks like a nice place to live.
This is for the Use Your Scraps Challenge. While I was doing the layout for the Color Challenge, I was really liking the red, white, and blue theme so I used it again. Everything on this layout was from my stash and the patterned papers are at last least two years old. The cardstock is from my stash and has been there a while too. I did some machine stitching and some paper tearing on this one. The title comes from a song title by Montgomery Gentry. The photo is of Main Street in our little town and was taken last July 4th. The close up is of the flag and flowers that hang on each light pole on Main Street. It really is a very beautiful site but if you blink your eyes when you pass thru you will miss it. Our Main Street is very small and consists of lawyer officers, a bank, the public library, and three restaurants that are open on a part time basis. There are no longer any small shops on Main Street as everything has moved out to the other little shopping centers near the highway.
